Extraction Service Terms & Conditions
To ensure the best possible experience for all beekeepers, please review the following information before booking your extraction service:
Comb Damage: While we take great care during the extraction process, delicate, old, or poorly attached comb may be damaged during uncapping or extraction. BeeCraft is not responsible for frames or comb that do not withstand the extraction process.
Frame Uncapping: We strive to preserve as much wax comb as possible by uncapping only what is necessary. However, some variation in comb thickness and appearance is normal.
Customer Containers: Please ensure all pails, buckets, jars, or other containers provided for your honey are clean and food-safe. BeeCraft does not wash or sanitize customer-supplied containers prior to filling.
Equipment Sanitation: Our extracting equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each customer’s extraction. While we follow strict food-safe handling practices, we cannot guarantee that trace amounts of other honey or pollen will not be present.
Turnaround Time: We aim to complete all extraction orders as efficiently as possible. During the busy harvest season, completion times may vary due to weather conditions, honey moisture levels, equipment demand, and our own beekeeping operations. Estimated timelines are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed.
Unclaimed Honey & Equipment: Customers will be contacted when their honey is ready for pickup. Honey, frames, supers, containers, or other equipment not collected within 30 days of notification may be considered abandoned and may be disposed of or otherwise dealt with at BeeCraft’s discretion.
Thank you for trusting BeeCraft with your harvest. We treat every beekeeper’s honey with the same care and attention we give our own.
