Designed to fit a standard 10-frame Langstroth hive, it is built from 3/4″ thick Canadian pine and finished with a durable galvanized metal top. The larger interior size (22″) allows it to fit comfortably over winter wraps and also makes it suitable for use with an upper entrance during the summer.
Insulated with 3/4″ Thermax (R-value 5.3), this cover helps regulate temperature in both cold and warm conditions. Thermax insulation is manufactured using 100% renewable energy.
