Formic Pro
Formic Pro is a fast-acting, formic acid–based treatment designed to control Varroa mites in honeybee colonies. Easy-to-use strips deliver a consistent dose of vapour throughout the hive, effectively reducing mite levels while penetrating capped brood cells—one of the few treatments that targets mites where they reproduce.
With flexible application options, Formic Pro can be used as a 14-day or 20-day treatment, depending on colony conditions and beekeeper preference. It is suitable for use during the honey flow when applied according to label directions, making it a convenient choice for in-season mite management.
Important: Temperature conditions must be followed carefully for safe and effective use.
Safety & Handling:
Formic acid is a corrosive substance. Always wear protective gloves and a respirator when handling and applying treatment. Use in a well-ventilated hive and follow all label instructions and local regulations.
